Bloomsburg University Of Pennsylvania GPA 3.74 Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education (I also hold a reciprocal Colorado Teaching Degree) I was born in raised in a small town called Dallas, Pennsylvania. I graduated high school in 2007 and decided to pursue a career in education. While I was obtaining my degree I took the time to volunteer within my department tutoring children throughout the Bloomsburg area. I just recently moved to the Denver area and would love to continue my work tutoring. I am currently employed at Bright Horizons Montessori School at Greenwood Village. I work with children ages 3-5 helping them sharpen their skills in academics as well as practical life.
Experience
I have worked with children of all ages. I enjoy doing tutoring after school hours to help individuals who need that little extra. My experience includes: Homework Club at Bloomsburg Memorial Elementary YMCA Mind and Body Tutoring My previous teaching experience includes student teaching at Shikellamy Elementary school with Kindergarten as well as Student teaching at Shikellamy Middle school with 7-8 grade Life Support Children. My requirements included providing individualized instruction for all children in the classroom. I also have experience working with Keystone Human Services Capital Area Head Start. I was employed as the Pre-K Counts Lead Teacher and instructed a group of 16 children with a co-teacher.

Hobbies
My hobbies include reading, writing, hiking, painting, baking. I also enjoy finding crafts and activities to do to keep me busy. Being a new resident to the Denver area has been very exciting . I have really enjoyed spending my Wednesday nights riding my bike with the Denver Cruisers. I am still looking for more groups, clubs, etc to join to keep me busy on the weekends. I have a cat, who (due to logistics) is currently staying with my parents until I can find a realistic way to move him out here. With that being said I love all animals and am very comfortable with pets. I am easy going ,flexible, and dependable, and am looking forward to helping children in the Denver area.
