Education
I Graduated from Regis University with my Biology degree with an emphasis in Molecular Biology and Genetics in May 2014. I graduated ungraduate with a 3.84 GPA I have also finished my Masters in Biomedical Sciences through Regis University May 2015. I graduated with a 3.41 GPA. Since graduating, I have been working as a Medical Assistant for Colorado Heart & Vascular and applying for Physician Assistant school.
Experience
- I have been a biology tutor for Regis University for the past 3 years. I tutored both the lab and lecture sections. (I can provide references if needed) - I was also a mentor for the Open Door Youth Gang Alternative program, which was geared for students between the ages of 5-14. - I love being a tutor because I enjoy knowing that I can help students succeed in not just in their current class, but also provide them with the right tools needed to succeed in their other classes. - Being a tutor also gives me the opportunity to help students become more confident in their self and their abilities to succeed. - Courses I have taken (Biology): Introduction Biology Molecular/Cellular Biology Microbiology Genetics Immunology Biochemistry Human and Comparative Anatomy Physiology - I am currently looking into going to PA, DO, or MD schools. I really want to become a physician and specialize in either pediatrics oncology or go into internal medicine
